What we do

Finding the servers
worth your time.

Community servers are where the best gaming happens. Not the official servers — those are fine. But the real experiences: the tight-knit Reforger community that's been running the same conflict for three months. The DayZ RP server with factions, lore, and actual admin events. The Rust server that doesn't tolerate cheaters and actually enforces it.

Finding those servers is a problem. There are thousands of them and no reliable way to know which are worth joining before you've wasted an evening. A good description doesn't mean a good server. High player counts don't mean a healthy community.

We fix that. Every episode is a real session on a real server — played as genuine new players, reviewed against a consistent scorecard, and rated honestly. No pay-to-play. No softening bad verdicts to keep admins happy.

The goal isn't to tear servers down. It's to help players find the genuinely good ones — and to give good server communities the recognition they've earned.

📡
Played incognito
We never announce ourselves before a review. We join as new players. Admins and communities are notified after the video is live — not before. The experience you see is the real one.
📋
Consistent scorecard
Every server is rated on the same eight criteria. Weighting adjusts by server type — a roleplay server weights community higher than a PVP server. Every verdict uses the same framework.
🎙️
Crew debrief, no script
Every episode ends with each crew member's unscripted take. Disagreement between us stays in. The value is in the genuine divergent opinions — not a unified verdict we agreed on beforehand.

The review crew

The people
behind the ratings.

Four players. Four perspectives. Identities classified. Opinions are not.

Brother 1
Lead Reviewer · Identity Classified
The one who's been in more community servers than most people have had hot meals. Hard to impress. Harder to fool. Sets the tone for every session.
DayZ Reforger
Brother 2
Reviewer · Identity Classified
The tactician. Watches admin behaviour like a hawk. Knows within twenty minutes whether a server's moderation is genuine or performative. Rarely wrong.
DayZ Reforger
Brother 3
Reviewer · Identity Classified
The community reader. Talks to everyone on a server — other players, regulars, the suspicious quiet ones. Finds things the scorecard alone would never catch.
Reforger DayZ
Sister
Reviewer · Identity Classified
The benchmark. Approaches every server without preconceptions. If a new player would struggle, she finds it. If the community is actually good, she's the first to say so.

Why this matters

Good servers deserve
to be found.

There are server admins out there who have poured hundreds of hours into building something genuinely worth playing. They've written lore, designed balance systems, trained moderation teams, and created a community that actually looks after its members.

Most of those servers are invisible. They don't have the budget to promote themselves. They rely entirely on word of mouth. They sit at the bottom of a browser list behind servers that have paid for better placement but deliver a fraction of the experience.

The best community servers aren't the ones at the top of the list. They're the ones that keep their players coming back after the honeymoon period ends.

We want to be the resource that changes that. A place where players can find servers that have actually been tested — not just browsed. And a platform that rewards the communities doing it right with the visibility they've earned.

No server pays for coverage
We choose every server we review. No exceptions. A server cannot submit payment or promotional consideration to influence whether or how we cover them.
Bad verdicts stay bad
If a server scores poorly, that score stays. We don't remove reviews because an admin complained or a community brigade hit the comments. The archive is permanent.
We tell you who it's for
Every verdict ends with a "who this is for" statement. A server that rates poorly for a solo player might be exactly right for an organised squad. We always make that distinction clear.
